Hello! My name is Jessica Kersey and I am the owner of JLK Weddings. A few years ago I launched our elopement division: Elope by JLK Weddings. I adore elopements for the way they lean into nature and adventure and celebrate marriage without all of the noise and distraction of a large wedding. Northwest Arkansas is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Because of the natural beauty all around us, it is ideal for intimate elopements that celebrate your marriage and the beauty of nature. Rockford Grange at Bear Hollow Ranch, Washburn, Missouri

This is right across the border in Missouri but is worth the drive for the rolling hills, 100-year-old stone cottage, and majestic elk who might make an appearance.  You can say your vows out in nature, on the stone patio of the home, or inside if it’s a rainy day. The cottage is also available for overnight rental if you want to spend your wedding night there on the property.

Botanical Garden of the Ozarks, Fayetteville Arkansas

The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks is exactly what it sounds like. This is the perfect place to say your vows in the Spring in Arkansas. Beautiful flowers and plants everywhere!

  • Ideal elopement size: 0-50 guests.

St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable, Fayetteville Arkansas

If you want to get married in a fairy tale location, this is it. A tiny stone chapel covered in ivy. St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable features a door and stained glass window directly from Great Brittan and your wedding may even have an appearance from one of the properties shetland ponies.

Sassafras Springs Vineyard and Winery, Fayetteville Arkansas

Sassafras Springs Vineyard has a number of locations that are perfect for elopements across their entire property, whether in the chapel ruins, in a grove of trees with a creek running alongside, or on a veranda looking out over their grapevines. They also have a really beautifully designed Lodge that can be booked overnight and vows can be said on the lawn surrounded by nature. 

  • $250 for 2 hours
  • Ideal elopement size: 0-100 guests

Hunt Chapel, Rogers Arkansas

This glass and stone chapel in the heart of Rogers is a great option for the couple who doesn’t want to risk a rainy wedding day. But the huge windows throughout the chapel still allow you to feel like you are in a natural setting. And if the weather is nice, the grounds make for beautiful photos.

Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel, Bella Vista Arkansas

Talk about bringing the outdoors in. Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel is nestled in the woods and truly feels like you are secluded in one of the prettiest parts of the state. The full glass chapel design makes it the best of both worlds when it comes to an indoor/outdoor elopement venue and it’s right off Highway 49 for quick and easy access. 

  • $600 for 1.5 hours
  • Ideal elopement size: 10-50 guests

Blowing Springs Park, Bella Vista Arkansas

Blowing Springs Park in Bella Vista has some absolutely beautiful stone bluffs that I love to use as a backdrop for elopements. They make for incredible photos. 

  • $450 for all day
  • Ideal elopement size: 0-20 guests

Triple Falls, Buffalo River, Ponca Arkansas

While this location is a bit of a drive, it is worth every minute of your time. It’s a short and easy 5-minute walk from the parking lot to the falls and you’ll be surrounded by one of the most beautiful waterfalls you’ve ever seen! I can’t think of a better place for an adventurous couple’s elopement. There are a number of other really beautiful Buffalo River locations for the adventurous couple including Roark’s Bluff, Steel Creek, and the Lost Valley Trail. All of these are the best of the best of Arkansas’s beauty.

The Ravington, Centerton Arkansas

The Ravington is an impeccably renovated historic building that has a lovely courtyard which is perfect for outdoor elopements. Their indoor space is also equally beautiful if the weather moves your vows inside. The building also features an amazing set of teal doors that were imported from India and lots of beautiful exposed brick.

  • $250 for 2 hours
  • Ideal elopement size: 10-20 guests

The Ballroom at I Street, Bentonville Arkansas

I adore the outdoor courtyard at The Ballroom at I Street and it makes for a perfect location for elopements! The trees are gorgeous and it feels very private. Plus the historic home on the property is available for overnight rental if you wanted to spend your wedding night there.

21C Museum Hotel, Bentonville Arkansas

The narrow gallery with floating paper sculpture at 21c Museum Hotel is an incredible location for the couple who loves a more modern design. Plus you can schedule a celebratory dinner at The Hive after the wedding for a world-class dining experience!

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Bentonville Arkansas

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art features property that is expansive, full of beautiful natural wonders, and structures tucked into the woods. Their Tulip Tree Shelter is just one of the locations that would make an absolutely stunning elopement location.

Brick & Mortar on Union Block

Brick and Mortar is another great modern option in downtown Rogers. This space is intimate and cozy and boasts an exposed brick wall that is the perfect blank slate to create a gorgeous backdrop for your vows.

Dry Storage at Onyx Coffee Lab, Downtown Rogers Arkansas

This impeccably designed space is located in the new Onyx Coffee Lab in downtown Rogers. If you love contemporary design, this indoor space is for you! And for a truly unforgettable culinary experience, you could schedule a celebratory dinner at Heirloom (upstairs) after your vows.
