Stephanie elected to rent an AirBNB for the morning of, while the groom got ready at the couple’s home. An AirBNB offers multiple benefits, ensuring the bridal party has plenty of room to spread out while getting ready, as well as being close to the ceremony site.

The Big Day

Stephanie and Drew held their wedding at the famed Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista. Designed by E. Fay Jones, the chapel is inspired by Gothic cathedrals of the Middle Ages. The chapel’s steel and glass structure allow for unmatched natural light, as well as a stunning backdrop of the foliage surrounding the venue.

Since the chapel only allows for ceremonies, the party then moved to Tower Bar at the Momentary for cocktail hour. And while a former cheese factory may sound like a head-scratcher for a happy hour and reception, this contemporary art space is sure to turn heads. Couples who use The Momentary enjoy customizable seating arrangements and room design, bar setup and service, on-site event management, as well as labor from setup through breakdown.

Once the cocktail hour was over, the guests made their way to dinner and dancing at the Rode House located in The Momentary wedding venue. Lighting provided by Lightworks Events set the mood. Twinkle lights were strung across the room in lieu of curtains, and a romantic golden glow bathed the venue. Florist Samantha Gardens created eye-catching tablespaces of burgundy, gold, and green to reflect the season.

The three-course menu featured tasty bites such as kale and black-eyed pea salad, sweet tea brined chicken, and southern succotash. The cake was provided by The Cake Occasion, an NWA bakery founded in 2015. In addition, the couple served bite-sized delights such as macarons, brownies, and lemon bars.

After the meal, the couple and their friends danced the night away! The good times rolled while the music played, with guests enjoying fun props and even a game of limbo! They departed for their honeymoon via a sparkler lit exit of friends and family.
