The Next Big Thing in NWA
The new kid on the block in Northwest Arkansas’ list of wedding venues is changing the game. Located in Cave Springs, Osage House opened in the summer of 2019 to thunderous acclaim. With a staff who has thought of everything – and yes, we mean everything – and a look unique to our area, Osage House is sure to become the next hot spot for weddings in the Ozarks.
An Inspired Beginning
Osage House is the brainchild of John and Ashley Starnes, Northwest Arkansas natives with a love for their community. Ashley’s passion for weddings coupled with her husband’s career in architecture laid the groundwork for the area’s newest wedding location. Named for the creek that runs to the south of the property, the Starnes designed their dream location to offer brides both a ceremony space and two reception areas on one property that’s big enough to host the largest of gatherings.
Modern Meets Cave Springs Arkansas
Osage House prides itself on its intimate romanticism, timeless elegance, and modern aesthetic. The exterior of both the chapel and reception hall are striking, with creamy white stone and ink-black roof standing in contrast to the greenery all around them. The rooflines are comprised of sleek, angular lines. Large windows make the most of natural lighting and give both spaces an airy feel.
The chapel is not like others in the area, instead, it embraces an entirely modern feel. Large black steel doors stand at the front and back of the chapel, while glass doors along both sides open wide to create a pseudo outdoor space, weather permitting. Four triangular skylights across the wooden beam ceiling make the building feel as if it is a part of the property enclosing it. White pews provide seating for up to 299 guests to take in the ceremony. But the gem of this chapel lies with its full glass chapel design along the back, so your ceremony can have an outdoor feel with the safety of the indoors.
Steps away, Osage House’s reception space offers ample room to get creative with both layout and setup, ensuring no two weddings feel the same. Crisp white walls and floor-to-ceiling windows comprise the space. Poured concrete floors make the perfect dance floor, while large covered patios give overflow room to guests. Two movable bars can be positioned anywhere within the space, adding versatility.
Brides craving a ceremony in the great outdoors will find plenty of options on Osage House’s land. Over 50 lush acres are available to you, with views overlooking the surrounding hills.
The Reserve
Osage House’s second reception area, The Reserve, is an industrial modern space designed to adapt to any bride’s vision. Expansive windows provide stunning treetop views. Glass garage doors open up to the space’s covered breezeway, the ideal space to host a cocktail hour between ceremony and reception. It also has direct access to the bride and groom suites and a catering prep kitchen. This space can comfortably host up to 250 guests for dinner seating. Also included with a rental of The Reserve is a new outdoor ceremony space.
It Is All In The Details
Renting Osage House is an all-inclusive venue experience. Brides are given access to the property on the day of from 9 a.m. to midnight, as well as two hours for photography before the wedding and one hour of rehearsal time. The venue also includes tables and chairs for 240 guests, food and cake tables, as well as two moveable bars. Best of all, cleanup is included at no additional cost. Family members can focus on celebrating your big day without having to worry about who is going to be picking you up afterward.
