Pratt Place Inn and Barn Wedding Venue

Dreamy. Elegant. Luxurious. These are just a few of the words that Fayetteville brides have used to describe their wedding at The Pratt Place Inn & Barn on Sassafras Hill. It isn’t just a favorite local wedding venue, either. Originally built as a family home in 1900, the property passed from generation to generation and even spent time as a summer camp, before coming under the ownership of Specialized Real Estate Group. With a commitment to proudly carrying on the location’s 115 year old legacy, Pratt Place opened its barn doors to the public in 2009. Ever since then, the rave reviews have continued to pour in from brides and industry experts alike.

No matter the size of your guest list or vision for your ceremony, Pratt Place has just the location to serve as the backdrop for your wedding day.

Perhaps the most well-known is Pratt Place Barn. Recognized by Martha Stewart Wedding magazine as the premier wedding venue in Arkansas, the barn can accommodate up to 300 people. Renting the barn also gives you access to the adjoining outdoor space, making it the ideal place to host your cocktail hour.

Planning for a smaller gathering? The Magnolia Dining Room is the perfect spot, providing seating for approximately 65 people. Large windows allow in copious amounts of natural light and stunning views of the property, giving the space an airy but refined feel. Following the ceremony, guests can step onto the beautiful adjoining patio to toast the bride and groom.

If you’d rather your wedding take place in the great outdoors, Pratt Place has options that are sure to take your breath away. Hold your ceremony on one of the property’s native stone patios, or the landscaped grounds of the Inn. For larger occasions, the Great Lawn is sure to be an excellent fit, with the ability to comfortably accommodate as many as 1500 guests.

Speaking of the outdoors, Pratt Place is situated on 140 verdant acres, with two and a half miles of trails winding throughout the property. The only problem will be narrowing down spots to take your portraits with so many natural backdrops available.

The expansive property might leave you wondering how far away Pratt Place really is. No worries! This seemingly secluded venue is only two minutes from downtown Fayetteville, meaning you and your guests can enjoy the best of both worlds. When the party ends at midnight, guests don’t have far to travel to continue the celebrations until last call.

They also won’t have far to walk when it comes to the big day. Pratt Place earns their bragging rights when it comes to parking. Not only is there plenty of it, but it is also located close to both venues while blending in with the natural scenery.
Pratt Place values making your wedding a personal affair. That’s why the options are limitless for catering, alcohol, and music, ensuring your wedding truly feels like you. Just keep in mind that music is only allowed at the location’s indoor venues, and not in outdoor spaces.

The owners of Pratt Place try to take the hassle out of some of the little details you have to navigate when planning a wedding. Each venue gives you the use of table and chairs at no additional charge. The property also features separate spaces for the bride and groom to get ready.

You and your family can enjoy the convenience of staying on sight when you host your wedding with Pratt Place. The Pratt Place Inn has seven elegantly appointed guestrooms, keeping everyone close to the action. Each suite is named for a tree variety found on Sassafras Hill, a small touch that is sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face. With breezy white bedding, wooden four-poster beds, and plush Persian rugs, it’s no wonder that the inn has received the prestigious Four-Star award from Forbes Travel.
