Are you one of the millions obsessed with Joanna Gaines’ famed Waco style? Do you find yourself thinking, “Would that wall look better with shiplap?” or coveting galvanized metal accessories? Are you dreaming of that same sort of look for your wedding day?
Northwest Arkansas brides, you are in luck. You don’t have to travel to Magnolia Farms to have a wedding inspired by the famous farmhouse style. Centerton wedding venue Kindred North captures the essence of that look and makes it available to you year-round. Opened in 2018 by Samantha Daniel, Kindred North will give your ceremony and reception elegance that would be sure to get a round of applause from Mrs. Gaines herself.
The exterior of Kindred North harkens back to old, small-town churches set a bit off the beaten path. The white wood exterior with a black roof is striking against the lush ten acres surrounding it. Large oak doors lead into the venue. Overhead an unpretentious wrought iron chandelier is framed in fresh foliage, creating a sort of halo above the entrance. A wrap-around porch provides the ideal spot for that first look moment between you and your soon-to-be spouse.
Walking into the space is likely to take anyone’s breath away. Pristine white walls with white exposed beam ceilings, pale wood floors, and large paned windows create a clean, blank slate for your wedding or reception. Persian rugs run the length of the aisle, while in the center of the room hangs a permanent floating wreath with real greenery. Vines wrap around the awning above the area where you’ll say your vows, bringing a bit of nature into the room. In short, it’s a venue that brings the best of your Pinterest wedding board to life.
Kindred North has additional outdoor space on their property, perfect for spring and fall weddings when the temperatures are just right. A smooth concrete pathway acts as the aisle. In front of a forest backdrop, a modern white arbor with hanging greenery frames you and your partner. Wooden benches seat guests in comfort as they watch you say your vows. Bring in musicians to provide your accompaniment up the aisle, or simply let the songbirds surrounding you do the trick.
Kindred North gives couples total creative freedom when it comes to choices for their wedding. For those that want a one-stop-shop, Kindred can handle everything from florals to tableware. They even provide in-house coordinating, set up and clean up packages, as well as access to a closet full of decor. Brides who prefer to DIY their day are welcome to choose their own vendors and curate the wedding of their dreams.
Kindred North consists of an expansive 5200 sq. ft. of heated and cooled ceremony/reception space. Renters have access to 27 round tables, 7 rectangle plastic tables, and 6 wooden farmhouse tables. They also offer 300 wooden X-back chairs. Dishes can also be rented from the venue, an eco-friendly touch environmentally conscious couples will surely appreciate.
Couples are welcomed to choose whoever they like for food and beverage service, as well as their cake. A catering kitchen with warming cabinet and ice maker are available for their use. A large white wooden bar is also available, an elegant place to serve guests your signature cocktail.
Kindred North also has private bride and groom suites, allowing both parties to get ready for the ceremony at the venue. The bridal suite boasts shiplap walls, the perfect backdrop for your pre-wedding bridesmaid picture. Best of all, it has a door allowing the bride to get to the main entrance for the ceremony without being seen, saving the big reveal for the moment you walk down the aisle.
Fridays and Sundays are available for rent for $4000. Saturdays can be reserved for $4500. If you have your eyes set on a Monday-Thursday, reach out to Kindred North’s team. They often offer special weekday pricing!
